Art is the place where I can express my thoughts, feelings and ideas freely. I bring my experiences as daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother; also the lessons I've learned as a breast cancer survivor. My work reflects my world. I have come to love and appreciate the essence and beauty of ordinary objects and everyday things that have universal appeal: food, flowers, color, light, dark, etc.

The digital giclée prints that I have been making for the past several years are a natural evolution of this focus. The images are produced by arranging objects on a flatbed scanner, photographed, and digitally refined. I want to share with the viewer my idea of our common bonds and some of the comfort I feel when working with them. I strive for a tiny bit of serenity, order and beauty.
